Maker onboarding · From introduction to proposal

Begin with one room.
Keep every product connected.

Propose a small collection or five to eight priority products. We review the materials with you and agree the first room, intended audience and deliverables before production begins.

01

Introduce the line

Tell us who you represent, what you make and the room or project you want to support. Use the existing Carolina Makers intake.

02

Prepare the selections

Match each item to its SKU, dimensions, finish, approved imagery and sourcing contact. Review permissions and identify missing information.

03

Approve the concept

Agree a room direction and product list. Begin with a presentation or lookbook; add digital models or a walkthrough where the project supports them.

04

Open a sourcing path

Let interested clients request the selections for their own project. Confirm quantities, pricing, lead times and supply responsibilities in the proposal.

What to bring · Links are enough to start

A useful first packet.

Your products

Five to eight suggested items, manufacturer and SKU, dimensions with units, finishes and current availability or lead-time information.

Your existing assets

Catalog PDFs, product photography, room scenes or authorized 3D models. Share a folder link and tell us what needs preparation.

Your approval path

The person who can approve the assets and presentation, any use restrictions, and the contact responsible for quotes and fulfillment.

If you do not have 3D models yet

A catalog or photography can start the conversation. We review suitable existing files first; ScanCGI can help scope missing digital assets. Any new capture, model preparation, fees and deliverables are agreed before work begins.

What we check before showing an exact product

We review the model or image against the maker’s product information, including dimensions, finish and product reference. A generated concept or suggested alternative is identified as such until reviewed. Permission to use an asset and confirmation that the product can be supplied are separate checks.

The presentation we develop with you

Request the proposal.

A Savvy Staged pilot pairs a room presentation with an itemized selection list. The intended experience lets a client discover a piece, review its product details and request a sourcing proposal for their project.

A room with a purpose

A designer presentation, property concept, furnished-living brief or manufacturer collection story, with an agreed audience and scope.

Products with identity

The maker, SKU, dimensions and finish stay connected to each selection. Substitutions are identified and reviewed.

A commercial next step

The concept leads to a project discussion and an availability-checked proposal. Purchase, staging and lease options are confirmed individually.

Interactive room viewers, shared walkthroughs and automated product mapping remain pilot development. The first presentation can use an approved lookbook and product list while those capabilities are evaluated.
